In brief

What works, what to weigh

Strengths

5 reasons to book
  • Central and walkable — The hotel is an 18-minute walk from Piazza Venezia and, according to guests, close to a Metro station, shops, restaurants and many of Rome's main sights.
  • Helpful, English-speaking staff — Reviewers consistently mention polite, attentive staff who spoke good English and were happy to help with luggage and requests.
  • Good value for money — With prices from £47 and several guests noting the price matched the location, the hotel is a sensible choice for a central stay.
  • Reliable breakfast — The buffet breakfast gets regular praise for its variety, including traditional Italian products, and reviewers mention being able to go back for seconds.
  • Clean, comfortable rooms — Guests describe rooms as clean, well-maintained and comfortable, with daily housekeeping and some rooms having balconies.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Check-in window ends at 23:59 — If you're arriving late in Rome, you'll need to reach the hotel before midnight. The reception is then open 24 hours once you're in.
  • Pets are not allowed — Travelling with a dog or cat means looking for another property, as the hotel's policy is no pets.
  • Parking is nearby, not on-site — Private parking is available nearby rather than under the hotel, so expect a short walk with your bags.
  • A few rooms could use a refresh — One guest found their room comfortable but in need of a lick of paint, so decor can feel a little tired in places.
